Zeper-Tal in Panketal

The Zeper Valley is one of our favorites when we spontaneously want to eat nearby because the hunger is great and the selection in our own refrigerator is just too small. The meal was never longer than 20-30 minutes in coming. The portions are available in 3 different sizes, although the medium portion is hardly manageable even for good eaters. The food tastes good and the service was always friendly and quick. On average we spend € 20 per person there for a very rich menu and a large drink. Certainly there are restaurants that offer slightly cheaper dishes, but there are also many where I have to look for my food on my plate for the same money and leave the restaurant with my hunger not completely satisfied but with a much lighter wallet. Now to the point deduction: the ambience inside is "okay", the outside area is "still okay". Somewhere in the reviews I had read something of idyllic in relation to the outdoor area ... well, it might depend on where else you spend your day. For me, an idyll is not on a busy street. But as a guest I know that even before entering the location and shouldn't be a point of criticism. Overall, it looks a bit neglected outside, this applies to the furniture, as well as to the decoration and the green areas. Our only criticism is aimed at the operator of the restaurant and not at the cook or the waitress. Since good food and nice staff are more important to us than a nice outdoor area, we will continue to be happy to stop there!

I had already rated it, no idea why Google is asking again. The furniture in the outside area is really gruesome, the food was mediocre for me, and for my girlfriend I won't come back.

If you want to eat your fill, this is the right place, if you want to eat comfortably, you probably don't. The furniture is clearly showing its age, a table in the outdoor area, where we sat in the nice weather with 35 degrees, was curved like a Chinese roof. The parasol already torn in some places. The prices for food are in the upper range, the drinks in turn in the lower range. So just 3 stars.

Super hospitable, the ambience could be better designed for a schnitzel house with little money, top staff from the cook to the service, great advice and delicious food at a really good price! Come again

Time to the last three entries 17 hours ago, if you are there at 7:15 p.m. and have your meal at 8:00 p.m. then you cannot have waited an hour. If you then have to prepare 19 meals in front of you, you should be understanding. Maybe the hair had just landed on the plate out of frustration at the waiting time. All other guests present at the same time were satisfied. Find the mistake

If there were minus stars, I would give them. But unfortunately you have to give one. Went there on recommendation, never again, waited 45 minutes for the drinks. 1:15 hours waiting for the food and waiting with hunger pangs and the end of the song a hair on my food !!!!!!! I have never seen anything so disgusting. What does the waiter say, what should I do there ????? I let the food go back.

Two schnitzel ordered to be picked up. One of them in XXL. It was just a KLECKS sauce! When we asked, we were told that the boss would pretend. Even if you order an XXL schnitzel (for over € 22), you only get the sauce portion of a small schnitzel. That's a joke. Once and never again. In terms of taste, neither fried potatoes nor the schnitzel and the blob of sauce were good. Never eaten so badly and wasted money.

Nice restaurant, good food (wide range of schnitzel) and very tasty. The service is very friendly. I can really only recommend it.

Food was standard ... Service ... hm ... for the mass of guests viiiiel too little ... Drinks at the waiter ordered ... after an hour and several times request first drinks ... we were 5h in this restaurant but 1 drink in this time received and 5 minutes before the end of the second is already the hard ... No system available and waiters seemed overwhelmed with the crowd of guests ... Too bad ... we were there a few years ago and experienced the same game ... nothing has changed ...

Who doesn't like to be foul-mouthed while dining at a restaurant? The waiters here have, what you'd call, "Berliner Schnauze", which is a neglectance of politeness the locals are totally fine with. In other words, it's publicly accepted to be rude to the customer, and vice versa. If you're a local, that's what you'd expect when walking into a restaurant. As a tourists, this can be, well, a bit offputting. On the food side: Zeper-tal claims to have the biggest Schnitzel in the area, which is probably true. The meat was tender and overall well tasty, however they drain their Schnitzel in some generic sauce depending on what you order ("Mexiko Schnitzel": topped with carbonara sauce, "Jaeger Schnitzel": topped with some brown hearty sauce) but you can tell that at least the sauce comes straight from the supermarket. Nothing home-made here. This is typical for these kind of local restaurants, and I wish there'd be a stronger sense for taste and authenticity. And less "Berliner Schnauze".
